No Samples Go To Waste at Crimson!

No Samples Go To Waste at Crimson!

By Cheryl Beachy Stauffer

Crimson Design is proud to support ZeroLandfill.

ZeroLandfill™ is an award-winning upcycling program held seasonally that supports the supply needs of local artists and arts educators while reducing pressure on local landfill capacity. Since 2006, the ZeroLandfill™ project team has partnered with the architectural, interior and graphic design community in identifying, diverting from local landfills and re-purposing back into the community nearly 500,000 pounds of expired specification samples that hold value for other audiences.

We donate our expired and old samples for ZeroLandfill to then donate to artists and arts educators.  Items they accept are:

Carpet Tiles and Books
Paint Decks and Laminate Chips
Upholstery Swatches
Vinyl and Rubber Flooring Samples
Brick, Tile and Stone Samples
Wallcovering Books
Glass and Metal Samples
Paper sample books
Stock Photo books
Pantone Chip books

It’s a win-win for everyone involved and we are so happy to keep more items out our landfills! For more information, you can follow ZeroLandfill™ on Facebook!
